Todos Los Santos – All Saints’ Day
1 November (public holiday in Spain)
In Spain and many other countries Dia de Todos los Santos – All Saints Day in Spain is a holiday of remembrance in honor of family and friends who have died. In Barcelona (Catalunya), Valencia and the Balearic Islands this day is known as Castanyada (Chestnut Day) because roast chestnuts are eaten, alongside small cakes called panellets (little breads) made of ground almonds, sweet potato and pine nuts.

The Valencia Boat Show is a trade fair set up by and for the nautical industry. In addition to the extensive range of boats on display, the event also features other sports, such as surfing, paddle surfing, kayaking and diving. You can try your hand at sailing and engage in other sea-related activities.
The event is idea for sailing professionals but others can also enjoy a range of activities and immerse themselves in the marine world. Due to its overwhelming success an additional 16,000 m2 has been added to the exhibition space.

Ricardo Tormo Circuit is located in the Cambrillas area of Cheste, just a short drive from the city of Valencia.

Concerts at the bandstand in the Marina on Saturdays & Sundays
La Marina de València – From 22 September to 16 December 2018
València Marina hosts two seasons of concerts at the renovated modernist bandstand in Plaça de la Sal.
Saturdays are rock music – the bandstand hosts music groups while experts in traditional cuisine prepare the best menus.
Sundays – include music bands from València’s seaside districts. For more information visit the website.
Performances take place at midday, from 11:30 onward – admission is free.
