Les Arts Fashion Show
7 – 10 June 2018

Held in Valencia’s Beneficencia Cultural Center the show features exhibitions, catwalk events, literary salons, music, dance, talks and much more. Les Arts Fashion Show is now officially recognized by UNESCO and is one of the activities for the “Valencia: City of Silk 2016” program which runs until 2020.

Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences

The festival’s fourth edition boasts a line-up of unique Spanish and international artists which include the Crystal Fighters, who will be joined by other big names such as Lori Meyers, Dorian, Sidecars and Mando Diao.

As well as great music, the festival will also offer diverse food trucks and activities related to design, illustration, fashion and much more plus the City of Arts and Sciences will be lit up by a spectacular fireworks display.

Festival of Sant Joan

The festival of Sant Joan is held between 20 and 24 June and coincides with the summer solstice. Parties are held all over Spain and in Valencia the beach is full of people having fun – there are bonfires, fireworks, music and dancing.

The 23 of June is the night of Sant Joan and is the shortest night of the year. Jumping over the bonfire a minimum of three times is considered to bring you luck for the entire year.

The Damnation of Faust (opera)

For lovers of opera Valencia’s Palau de les Arts will be hosting performances of Hector Berlioz’s The Damnation of Faust, a joint production from the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, the Teatro Regio di Torino and the Palau itself.

Under the baton of the Milanese conductor Roberto Abbado and with staging by the Venetian director Damiano Michieletto, a spectaular show is guaranteed.
