As well as being one of the most well known Spanish tapas, Patatas Bravas (brave potatoes) are also very easy to make.
There are many variations of Spanish patatas bravas but they are usually always spicy, and very tasty .
Recipes of Spain Patatas Bravas
Ingredients
- 5 medium sized potatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1-2 dried chillies
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Method
- Wash and peel potatoes and cut into small or medium sized cubes and then fry until golden (leave in pan as you add the sauce later).
- Crush garlic, chillies, cumin and paprika together (a mortar and pestle are great for this) and then add the red wine vinegar.
- Add to frying pan and cook for a few more minutes.
- Sprinkle with salt and enjoy.
