Ricardo Tormo Circuit ~ Moto GP

Ricardo Tormo Circuit de Valencia opened in September 1999 and is just 10km from Valencia Airport in Manises and only 20km from the city of Valencia. This popular event is held every year during the month of November.

Getting Here from Valencia:

By Car – Easy to access via the following motorways – A3 (Madrid/Valencia) and the A7 (Alicante/Barcelona).

By Train – Take Line C-3 (Cercanias-Renfe – suburban train) from Sant Isidre station in the center of Valencia to Cheste. From here it’s a ten minute walk to the circuit.

By Bus – You can also take a bus from Valencia Central Bus Station to the center of Cheste.

The circuit is named after Ricardo Tormo (7 September 1952 – 27 December 1998) who was a famous Valencian Grand Prix motorcycle road racing World Champion who died in 1998.

The circuit is located in the Cambrillas area in Cheste which is just a short drive from the city of Valencia.

The design of the circuit follows that of the American Canon Circuit which allows a fantastic view of all that’s happening during the race.
