The island gets its name from the picturesque inland villages that are full of white-washed houses and lemon groves. You can explore the peaceful villages of S’Argamassa, Santa Eulalia and enjoy San Juan, with its hippy culture.
The town of Portinatx has stunning scenery — it’s popular with families and has lovely beaches such as Playa d’en Bossa. If you like culture and history, the town is also full of historical sites.

You can take the ferry from Valencia, Alicante and Denia to the Balearic Islands which are just off the coast of the Valencia region of Spain.

Ibiza is a popular place to visit as it’s very close to the mainland ports of Valencia, Alicante and Denia. You can also take trips to the other islands like Majorca, which is a little further away.
