An apartment close to the sea is good if you enjoy spending most of your time swimming and lazing on the beach.
The district of Cabanyal is just a few minutes walk from the lovely beach and restaurants of the area.
You can take the tram or bus to the city center. Buses run from the center of town to the beach until midnight and the night-bus runs until about 2.00am.
However, if you prefer to be in the center of town close to shops and the many tourist attractions, then Valencia Old Town is the best place to stay.
