Cathedral of Valencia : La Seu/Catedral

The Cathedral has the oldest museum in the city (Sala Capitular) which contains the Holy Chalice of Valencia. This is the official chalice used by Christ on the last supper – the very sacred Holy Grail.
Jubilee Year of the Holy Grail
For the first time the Jubilee Year of the Holy Grail will be held in Valencia. It will be held on the last Thursday in October in the Chapel of the Holy Grail.
The Cathedral of Valencia will become a center of pilgramage to commemorate the celebration. ‘The Paths of the Grail’ (Los Caminos del Grail) exhibition, will be held next to the cathedral in the halls of the 14th century Almudín Building until June 2016.
The exhibition traces the long and epic pilgrimage of the Holy Grail before its arrival in Valencia in the 1400s.
